The 'Three Villages' is how the cluster of Attard, Balzan and Lija is known. These are very old, serene and picturesque villages, as becomes evident from the numerous houses of character, old chapels, niches, gardens and palaces found in the area. In fact, the location is sometimes referred to as the 'Garden' of Malta, attributable mostly to the famed and beautiful San Anton public gardens, but no less to the greenery one finds in the streets and in the grounds of the stylish villas located in the so-called 'Three Villages'. Here one also finds the historic San Anton Palace, nowadays the home of the President of Malta, bearing memories of the Order's Grand Masters and British Governors.                 Please remember to send in your own photos to appear on this site for all to enjoy.
