Saint George's Bay
Saint George's Bay used to be a quiet water inlet on the outskirts of Saint Julians's Bay, familiar only to the residents of nearby towns, some tourists and members of the British garrison stationed at Fort Pemborke/Saint Andrew's Barracks (till the late 1970's).
Though still picturesque, the bay has been developed and the emphasis has shifted from the historic 'Villa Rosa' to the newer "5 Star" hotels lining its sides, from the little bars at one end of the once sandy beach to the entertainment centre and shopping mall at the other.
