  What's New?

Panoramic Views     a new feature !     in my-malta.com

Example of page

Pages with this sort of feature will become a regular item in our website.

You may scroll Left and Right for horizontal panoramic views, or Up and Down in vertical shots.   At times both features may be found in the same webpage (see image), along with still photos and write-ups.

Our first pages in this series take us to Saint George's Bay, in the vicinity of Saint Julian's, and then to the Grand Harbour where we look at Senglea from across Dockyard Creek (formerly known as Galley Creek).

As much as possible, we try to describe to the visitor what is shown in the photographs, and perhaps adding a bit more. Look out in the coming week or so for Ghadira Bay and Nature Reserve.

  Site Feature Focus

Amongst the target audiences of www.my-malta.com are students, who require not only direct information -- free from flowery prose -- but also a fair amount of pictures for their school projects.

Our visitors are free to request pictures from this website and we'll do our best to email you what's in our archive, or even shoot the picture for you where this is possible.

In cases where we do not have, or cannot legitimately obtain, such material we'll gladly suggest sources where you could obtain it directly.

All we ask is that you retain our 'copyright' text on the photos we send you and that you recommend our website to your friends and conacts.

  Site Mission Statement

This site does not sell anything! It has no ties or obligations towards any organization and, therefore, has no hidden agenda.

Any recommendations given are based on our sincere opinions, and are not motivated by any material gains.

It is the prime objective of this site to promote the Maltese Islands, their history, culture and lifestyle.   In so doing, the rest of our objectives are also met.   The honest manner in which we describe ourselves may often constitute national auto-criticism, intended to expose wrongdoings in the hope that they be corrected by whoever has the faculty to right the wrongs; at times these being the authorities, at other times ourselves.

The protection of our Environment (in its broadest sense) is foremost among our priorities.

And finally, it is another of our aims to unite all those who love the Maltese Islands, wherever these people may live, whatever their culture or creed, as long as they are people of Good Will.
